Basic Tips

Participate in EVERY event! Being F2P it is crucial you complete all events to stockpile the free rewards!

Always save everything you earn until an event is in progress "IE KvK Prep Phase, Hall of Governors, Etc." this leads to rewards for using rewards.

Only use gems for Hero Roulette! Once you have maxed the current generation, SAVE all Gems for the next generation! Make sure to refer to my guide on how to spend your gems for spins.

PRO TIPS

One big thing to do, while time consuming and complicated is reforging gear per event to increase your rewards..
Here's some examples:

For Arena:

Balance your gear equally on your top 5 heroes! Focus on only lethality on archers, health/lethality on both cavalry and infantry. This will also help you advance levels in conquest.

For bear trap:

Level up your archers lethality gear to max level you can both items "Make sure you keep them equal if you can't level them both to 100, so like 80/80 each or something."
After you've maxed your archers lethality gear, do the same for your cavalry. Then lastly infantry lethality.

For Vikings Vengeance:

Level up your infantry gear first, Focusing health and then lethality. Secondary gear will be cavalry health and lethality, and lastly archer lethality.
DO NOT EVER use MASTERY Reforge. This costs you HALF your hammers!! Only ever use the enhancement reforge!
Remember to ALWAYS reset your gear back to only your top 3 heroes before KvK, Swordland, Alliance Championship etc.. Take a screenshot and document your gear so you can easily relevel it back for PvP events.

When to save what

Gems:
As a F2P player, You will only use gems for Hero Roulette, and to keep your VIP ACTIVE "Do not use on VIP XP." Other then that ALWAYS save them.
Epic Recruitment Keys:
Once you have maxed out Jabel DO NOT use any Epic recruitment keys. Eventually the hero will change "around 140-150 days, sometimes longer though." This is around 2 to 3 months from now.
Advanced Pet Marks
Do NOT use the Advanced Pet Marks "Orange ones," Until you hit the purple tier of upgrades! Save them all until you can do that with blue ones!
Troop Training Speed ups:
Save all your toop training speed ups for Phase 4 of the Kvk prep phase! With the extra 25% training buff applied for KvK this becomes the best day to train your troops. So save all your speed ups every month and use them only then!!
Buccaneer Bounty Keys:
Save up all your buccaneer bounty keys! You can keep them between the event, and stockpile them. Use them in 3 month cycles. The event comes every month. So say this event you save all your keys, next event you save them, and then the following event you use them all. Rinse and repeat. One of the best things to get from Buccaneer bounty being F2P is hero widget chests!
